Proud of Zainab Waheed, participant in Youth4Climate Summit
Zainab Waheed, student of Class 11,
in Convent of Jesus and Mary, Lahore
was selected by the United Nations
as Pakistan's official delegate for
the "Youth4Climate: Driving Ambition" Climate Change summit
held in Milan, Italy, 2021
At such a young age of 16,
she has worked with diplomats and delegates from the world over
to tackle one of the biggest threats to the planet,
climate change,
ahead of the Conference of Parties(COP)26.

Since the examinations will be over, the school will be off for students from the 25th of November till the 29th of November, 2021.
Students selected for Happy Friday,
as announced in their classes in all sections,
will come to school 9-12 on the 26th of November 2021.
Regular school will resume from the 30th of November, 2021

on a visit to the school.
Our Provincial Sr. Marian Saldana also met the ambassador.
The children greeted him in Spanish and presented bouquets and posters.
