McGill Cellphilm Festival Award

 Dolia Bong Duke of class 1 A

won the 

McGill Cellphilm Award 2024 

12th International McGill Cellphilm Festival 2024 invited entries on the theme ‘Taking Action Together’. 

The organizers were looking for messages that could ignite collective change. 

Dolia Bong Duke of class 1 A participated in the competition early this year in June. 

Dolia’s entry titled ‘Kindness’ won in the children’s category (12 years and younger). 

In the award distribution ceremony, Dolia thanked her school and her teachers. She also pledged her award money for ‘buying toys and books for children who don’t have money’.
