TRIP TO THAILAND

The senior classes 11 and 10M went to Thailand in the first week of January. The pictures tell the story but not the whole story. The Rose Garden is there with performers showing the Pakistan flag to welcome the group, the golden Buddha was the highlight but so were the elephants! The floating market is not seen here and photographs were not allowed in the grand show in Bangkok, something quite out of the ordinary. Hope such trips continue under the guidance and active participation of Sr Pilar.

CLASS 10 AND 9M TRIP TO FAISALABAD AND TOBA TEK SINGH

The class 10 and 9M trip to Faisalabad and Toba Tek Singh was a big success. The Serena Hotel was a luxurious retreat but the visit to the Convent of Jesus and Mary, Toba Tek Singh was a great learning experience. The small town life of Central Punjab was an eye opener for the very cosmopolitan Lahori girls. The visit to the famous Agriculture University, Faisalabad was very educational and being the oldest and biggest in the Sub Continent was an added treat. Of course the colonial Chenab club and the factory outlets were an even bigger treat for the students and teachers alike.
