URDU SECTION HALL OPENS




BEFORE BREAKING OFF FOR EASTER ON THE 19TH OF APRIL, 2008, SISTER PILAR GAVE URDU SECTION A BIG SURPRISE. SISTER GRACE CUT THE RIBBON TO START THE OPENING CEREMONY FOR THE NEW ACTIVITY HALL OF URDU SECTION. A MINI CONCERT PERFORMED BY THE CHILDREN FROM CLASSES NURSERY, PREP, ONE AND TWO WAS A DELIGHT TO WATCH. SISTERS AND COORDINATORS OF ALL THE OTHER SECTIONS WERE WELCOMED VERY GRACIOUSLY BY THE URDU SECTION STAFF AND STUDENTS. THE CAPTAIN THANKED SISTER PILAR ON BEHALF OF THE URDU SECTION. IT IS DEFINITELY AN ADMIRABLE PROJECT.

1. Sr. Grace and Sr. Marie Cecile graced the occasion and praised the caste and crew for an enjoyable performance

1. The aunts of Lord Bantock represent the 'appropriate' life style at the Manor
2. Fanny is torn between her past as a stage artist and her present as the newly wed Lady Bantock
3. The stage comes alive with the colours of the stage actoresses' surprise visit to the Bantock Manor
4,5. The theatre world is depicted in the interludes











DETAILS OF THE ANNUAL PLAY PART III









1. Fanny must live up to the standards laid down by the First Lady Bantock whose picture is a constant reminder
2. The doctor who has healed many an ailment, helps cure the conflict of the present Lady
3. The butler, a key figure in the coflict afflicting Fanny. The other title of the play is 'Fanny and the Servant Problem'. It tells the whole story


CJM ANNUAL PLAY 2008

The CJM Dramatics Society put up Jerome K. Jerome's comedy titled 'Strictly Confidential' on the 12th of March, 2008. It was a tremendous success and all the actors performed with a confident flare making the colourful musical a memorable production.
